Directions

Hanley Castle High School is on the B4211 between Powick & Upton on Severn.  

EITHER from the North, Worcester Exit M5 J7.

Take Worcester turning off roundabout and turn left on to the southern ring road (follow brown signs to 3 Counties Showground).  Go over 2 roundabouts, cross the river and at the third roundabout turn left off the ring road, towards Powick/Malvern and then take a left at the one way roundabout (by the Red Lion pub) after the Petrol Station onto the B4424.

Continue onto the B4211 towards Upton.

At Hanley Castle, after the turn on the right to the Three Counties Showground , you’ll find the school, clearly signposted, on your right on Church End.

OR from the South M5 jn8, take the M50 to the first junction and turn off.
At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A38 towards Worcester, and at the next roundabout keep going straight on the A38. After about 3 miles you’ll come to the next roundabout, where you turn left onto the A4104 towards Upton. This will take you over the river to another roundabout, turn right there onto the B4211 and after a mile you’ll see Hanley Castle High School clearly signposted on the left.

Once you turn into the school, take first left into the bus bay, the posts from the gravel car park will be removed so you can get in to park and there will be yellow signs to direct you to the 6th form centre, which is parallel to the main road and just 20m on your left.

Temporary parking is available outside the 6th form centre for unloading and then please park at the end in front of the sports centre, plenty of room to turn around and can take 3-4 cars.  Please take care to not block the 6th form entrance permanently in case emergency vehicles need access.
